New Blocks of the month...

Golden's Journal.  This is one of our choices for our 2nd Saturday blocks.  We will highlight 12 blocks, but there are 8 more that you can buy during the year.  Great book from the Kansas City Star!  Book is $24.95 and blocks are $6 each plus postage if you can't make it in each month.

Snowmen on Parade- a row of the month quilt
Each month for 7 months you will receive the fabric to make a row of this adorable quilt.  Quilt measures 42" x 60".  If you are good, you can have it to the quilters and back before the first snowflake falls.  Pattern is $26.00 and the fabric kits that will include borders and binding are $14.95/month.

Table Runners of the Month...
     

Join our table runner of the month club.  Each month you will get the pattern and fabric, including backing and binding, to make these adorable runners.  Each runner measures 14” x 42”.  Sign up now…only $27.50 per month

2008 Thimbleberries Club Lodge and Lakeside Quilt Club....see newsletter for all the details.  You can make the big quilt or just do the quarterly projects.  There is still time to start.

Wash Tub Club
This club is for those who Love 30’s and 40’s reproduction fabrics.  Each month you will receive a story from the Ethel May Quilt Club, along with full color instructions of a project to sew.  Projects include a quilt done in 3 parts, a ditty bag, an iron tote, a sewing machine cover, a table runner, a casserole tote, an apron, book cover, doll quilt, and a shopping bag.  In addition, you will receive two 1930’s/1940’s reproduction fat quarters to be used in your projects, or add them to your stash.  The cost for our Wash Tub Club is $10.00 a month or you can pre-pay all 12 months and only pay $99.00.  If you want, bring your sewing machine and join us at the shop on the 2nd Thursday evening from 5-7pm.  Space is limited, so please let us know if you would like to sew or just come and hear about Ethel May and pick out your fat quarters.  If you can’t make it, we can mail it to you.

Civil War Love Letter Stitchers
Get to know the touching tales of the love shared by Civil War soldiers, their sweethearts and their families.  Each month we will work on 4 different blocks by paper-piecing. You can sew them by hand or machine.  The group meets the first Monday afternoons from 1 to 4 pm.  Bring your machine or needle and thread and have some fun!  The book is required, and there is a CD available for paper-piecing patterns.  (You will need EQ 5 or EQ6 to use the CD)   $10.00 for the first month.  Not too late to join.
